| Wow, I don't know how I missed this seeing as I was one of the original artists from the card game for this thing, but hey, Magi-Nation is now running as a cartoon Saturdays on WB. It debuted on September 22. Crazy~~ been awhile since I had even thought about it since even Matt (the lead designer of close to everything everyone knows as Magi-Nation) worked on that. He's off working in the video game biz now.
Matt tells me there will be at least 23 eps running. Don't know if thats going to be one season or multiple seasons or what. But its neat its there I guess.

Looking over it, the company that animated it seems to have spent the animation budget in the right areas and the backgrounds are pretty cool. However, I really do wish the characters designs were closer to Matts. His stuff always has a great round and naturey feel that the shows just don't have in the least. Too jaggy I think. Also I see old Tony Jones has had a hair color change. May have been much like his japanese gbc release change to dark spikey hair. Who knows.
As for story~ yikes~ and I mean YIKES >_< Sigh~ ah well, hopefully it'll evolve beyond being yet another crappy Yugi-O-Mon of the industry. Seriously, having been around the original dev team and their ideas, I could totally see a plot more like Mighty Max than Pokemon. And maybe with art direction more like Disney's Tarzan or even Peter Pan. Cool leafy trees and lots of lush colors. Not this lets color everything like Teen Titans washed out crap I keep seeing.
Anywho, for those that care at all or liked the card game, check it out just for kicks and give Matt's artin some love sometime.

| Lots to talk about and lots to do, so I just hit on a few bullet points about what's going on with me.
Job stuff is going good and its nice to have some regular moneys again. Haven't had that since 01'!
Am officially signed off on DMD and TP, so hopefully they'll take that series and run with it.
Started sketching a lot more. Did some artin for tha girlies I's knows. Diana helped me out and turned my Ghostcircles site into a blog. I've been posting on it everyday and hope to continue to do so.
Got a digital recorder and software! The recorder is here and soon all the other stuff will be too. So me and my buddy Steve won't have to wait around on other people to help us record after this week. I'll post our musically bits on the blog as it comes along.
Had my two year anniversary with my sweetie. Hoo-ray!
Hung out with Diana a bunch which was fun, played some Ico. We'll have to play more!

| Ah ~ things have been going well and I’m so happy. Still trying to wrap up a few things that are messy and unpleasant, but yes, overall, really happy.
Went the other night with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) amegoddess (oh yeah, she’s visiting by the way… oops, should mention that… oh! I just did! Yay!) to go see the very talented Sioux City Sasparilla. Two of my local buddies (Jimmy & Steve) band and it was really exciting to finally hear them live.
The show was located in a bar in ol’ downtown Bako called Azul. Mmm~ much like its namesake, very blue. I found pics of it here on these sites:

It was a wonderfully fun scene with lots of everything bar oriented and SCS leader Jimmy was very nice and even got amegoddess a beer on the house. Yum! He also intro-ed me and had me listen to some possible lead singers for a project I’m working with them on. More on that later… it will be the num. I demand it!
Anywho, I sleep. Oh and there’s a new image in my gallery on Ghostcircles. Woo!
